We have posted below the response from the British Contact Lens Association.

We would like to stress the importance of adhering to your aftercare regime as advised by either Mr Martin Coe or Mrs Gill Langrick, and to also remind you that if you have any discomfort or unusual symptoms to make an appointment with us as soon as possible so that we may investigate.

It is a constant concern to us that some patients buy their lenses from an unknown source on-line, as the integrity of the lenses cannot always be guaranteed. The counterfeit market is also growing at such a disturbing rate we more than ever need to be vigilant when purchasing any goods. We survey our contact lens prices alongside various on-line companies on a regular basis. We try ensure that we are as competitive as possible, and our Eyeplan patients certainly benefit from the discounted prices.
